WHAT’S IN A NAME?

Sandalwood is a slow-growing, long-living tree found in in the southern half of Western Australia.
In fact, it’s one of the State’s oldest export industries, reaching back to 1844. The wood’s aromatic oils carry many beneficial minerals, making it a luxury item often used for medicinal and meditation purposes. Demand for sandalwood continues to grow with new markets developing in Malaysia, Singapore, India, and Thailand.

We picked this indigenous tree as our company name to reflect our Western Australian origins, the focus on quality, and its appeal in overseas markets.
